Summa, summa, summatime! Slo ‘Mo Party is kicking off Pride Week with a family BBQ & queer hip hop show. After BBQ hangs with Queer women-owned catering company Midwest Methods (s/o to Tera Murray!), head inside to Sleeping Village's stunning new music venue for performances by Chicago’s Roy Kinsey & duo Mother Nature, and DJ sets featuring hip hop & R&B classics by resident DJ Audio Jack and Slo 'Mo fam Hijo Prodigo. Ticket includes entry to the concert; food is available for purchase...while it lasts!

Wheelchair accessible venue & all-gender bathrooms will be featured during Slo 'Mo.

Located in Avondale, Sleeping Village is the newest venture of our Whistler family. The bar and patio upon entry are free and open to the public, .while the attached music venue in the back is a ticketed space. We have been excited about bringing Slo 'Mo to their newest addition for months and can't wait to make use of the state-of-the-art sound system and beautiful space!
