Slo 'Mo at the Whistler: Pride Edition

LOVE WILL NEVER DO WITHOUT YOU! For our PRIDE month Slo 'Mo at the Whistler we are honoring an icon who has truly stood up for the LGBTQ+ community for decades: JANET. (Miss Jackson if you're nasty). Our sibling in sonic experiences Hijo Prodigo Justin Ignatius Mitchell will join Audio Jack (Jack Theodore) on the decks for a double dose of queer anthems.

This party is a prelude to our special Pride Slo 'Mo presentation of the season, a lIVE tribute to Janet performed by the all women & trans band FEMME/SLASH, headlining the Chicago Reader Pride Block Party 6/23 at 8pm. You might recall this incredible ensemble when they performed sexy, spooky classics at our Halloween party, the Coven Classic. Get ready for all your favorite Janet performed LIVE with all the singing and dancing and synths you could dream of.
