Spring is in the air at our next Old Gold day soiree at Three Top Lounge May 4. Featuring the intergenerational DJ trio the Good Girls, Old Gold is our beloved daytime affair for queer fam over 30. This May edition we celebrate the mothers in our community, hosted by Chicago’s Party Mom Kristen Kaza with R&B, disco, and house all-vinyl sets by legendary DJ moms Lady D and Lori Branch. The afternoon will begin with a Mom Social Hour featuring a sound bath ritual led by bodyworker/healer and Slo ‘Mo’s Godmutha Tristen of TuneInWithTristen followed by cocktails and n/a spritzers hosted by Fords Gin. Old Gold will officially kick off at 4PM until the sunsets over the beautiful Chicago skyline.
This is Kristen’s first gathering under her newest endeavor Mother Lover, a work-in-progress project making space for the multitudes of motherhood. The first 20 spots for the Mom Social Hour are complementary and then $20 and include admission to Old Gold. Availability is very limited and centers queer and trans moms. Early bird Old Gold tickets are $20 and general admission and day of tickets are $25. Ticket purchasers will be signed up for the Slo ‘Mo and Mother Lover email newsletters from which you can unsubscribe at any time.
