  • The Promontory 5311 South Lake Park Avenue Chicago, IL, 60615 United States (map)

Everyone’s family in Slo ‘Mo’s house! Join us for our second annual celebration of LGBTQ Pride at the Promontory, with partial proceeds again supporting Hyde Park’s social justice organization Affinity Community Services. Hosted by Kristen Kaza with sets by DJs Tess & Audio Jack, this Satellite Slo ‘Mo will feature a special tribute to musical ancestors we love who have moved onto the next dimension, including Prince, David Bowie, Maurice White, Aaliyah, Teena Marie, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson and more, in addition to other R&B favorites from the 70s to today. This party is about honoring our past, celebrating in the present and supporting our future!

Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door and go on sale Thursday, May 26th at promontorychicago.com

The main entrance to the Promontory has a set of stairs but an elevator up to the venue is accessible through the restaurant. The venue will also feature gender neutral bathrooms.

Slo 'Mo: Slow jams for homos (and their fans) is Chicago's party for lovers with Kristen Kaza and DJs Tess and Audio Jack. Its residency at the Whistler in Logan Square takes place the third Thursday of the month with special Satellite programs throughout the city.
