Jump into the pleasure portal! Slo ‘Mo returns to Sleeping Village May 27 with DJs All the Way Kay & Ca$h Era and a special performance by Chicago’s Cool Mom Mister Wallace. We’ll have Taylor’s Tacos slinging delicious snacks on the patio and Del Maguey mezcal margaritas in the bubbler behind the bar to kick off your holiday weekend deliciously!
We are currently offering a sliding scale ticket model of $10-20. Please consider that Slo ‘Mo is an all-queer femme production and our goal is to provide equitable wages to all the artists and vendors that participate in our events in an industry that significantly undervalues and underrpresents women and gender expansive artists! We will again donate 10% of sales proceeds, with this month benefiting the crucial work of Chicago Abortion Fund who provide financial, logistical, and emotional support to people seeking abortion care in Chicago, in Illinois, and the Midwest.
Sleeping Village requires proof of vaccination and we *strongly* encourage the use of masks, which will be made available at the ticket booth. We are in this together: We lovingly ask you to consider the collective and do your part to lessen the spread of COVID and illness by wearing a mask when not actively eating, drinking or taking a photo. Note there will be flash photography, and potential use of fog and flashing lights in the venue. The entire venue is wheelchair accessible, and there are wheelchair dedicated spaces in the venue next to the sound booth, as well as booths and seats in the bar and on the patio. Please email slomoparty@gmail.com with any needs or questions.
