It’s Slo ‘Mo’s first party of the year and we’re ready to be sensually queer. Come through Vday weekend for a night of back-to-back love drenched jams by VITIGRRL and All the Way Kay, a special performance by rapper/singer YNG Romance and the return of powerhouse dance duo Miss Angelica Grace and Darling Shear. The sexy soiree is hosted by Your Godmutha Tristen & Party Mom Kristen are here to help you tap into your “feel good frequency,” as Godmutha says!
It’s Valentine’s Day weekend, and we’re turning up the heat with Feeld, a dating app for exploration, curiosity and pleasure. Download and show your app for a Del Maguey mezcal margarita on the house (while supplies last) in the music venue bar.
Treat yourself, a beloved or bestie and invest in Black small businesses at our Vday mini market: Indulge in artisan sweet treats by Cookies & Conversation, jewelry by Bonded and Slo ‘Mo main stay Taylor’s Tacos snacks.
In honor of Black History Month and the Love Month this party edition is a love letter to our Black queer and trans family. We'll be gifting complimentary sweet treats from Cookies & Conversations to beloveds who identify as such, while supplies last. From Chaka to Sade, the room will be fused with sonic femmergy as we pay homage to the Black women artists who are the arbiters of the music we love so much.
10 percent of month’s party profits will support the Black Florist Fund, created to provide capital grants to for-profit Black florists and Black flower farmers across the U.S.These grants provide a necessary infusion of capital to assist these businesses with critical infrastructure and resources without being beholden to a bank. With February being one of florists’ busiest times of the year, invest in Black business!
Tickets are sliding scale $10-20 in advance and $15-20 at the door. $10 tickets are limited and intended for people with more limited means; Black queer and trans women to the front especially. We encourage folks who are more financially empowered and allies to choose the $20 ticket. Slo ‘Mo is an entirely queer femme founded, produced and performer centered show and ticket profits help ensure pay equity.
We are so grateful to our partners Del Maguey and Feeld for making this month’s sensual soiree extra sweet and impactful.
