The time is now to tap our collective pleasure power. We are embracing, exploring and expressing sensuality and desire with a new live storytelling series set to a live soundtrack you can experience from the comforts of your home (bed, bath…or wherever you please)! In honor of National Poetry Month, the inaugural Erotic Isolation event will kick off with a poem by Bea Cordelia, followed by erotica readings by Jeez Loueez (Jeezy’s Juke Joint) & Kristen Kaza (Slo ‘Mo Party), all set to a live soundscape created and performed by DJ Viti Grrl (Slo ‘Mo Party). This program is short and sweet (or nasty, you’ll have to wait and see) so don’t be late! We get things heated at 9PM and send you off to bed and beyond by 9:45PM.
BIG GRATITUDE for Leah Ball who created this sumptuous illustration for our inaugural Erotic Isolation! Are you interested in creating a fantasy forward illustration for a future event? Email us slomoparty@gmail.com or DM at @slomoparty on IG
Feeling inspired? You can submit a story to be read at a future Erotic Isolation! We are now accepting submissions. The winning stories and poems will be awarded a cash prize and the glory of having your work read by a beloved LGBTQ+ entertainer at a future event.
Guidelines:
4-10 minutes in length
No violent imagery (we support BDSM but due to the IG overlords are going for R rated over X)
No transphobic, racist, body shaming or othering of any kind!
(Bea, Jeezy, KK, Hannah bios)
About Slo ‘Mo From Homo:
Slo ‘Mo From Homo is a series of events, parties & workshops from queer community centered collective Slo ‘Mo Party. Togetherness is a tenant of Slo ‘Mo’s mission, especially in times of social distress and fear. How do we prioritize our physical health and safety while still supporting our emotional and spiritual need to feel good and connected with each other? This is an experiment we are committed to exploring, because music is not canceled. Dancing is not canceled. Pleasure is not canceled. Celebration is not canceled. Community is NEVER canceled, in fact - we need it more than ever. We are just pivoting to new ways of doing it.
This is an experiment and therefore continuously evolving! We appreciate your input, support, and advocacy. Spread the word by sharing our events, posting to instagram and sharing photos and videos of you getting down! @slomoparty
